Resolve client-forwarded links to one property record

For Buyer's agents and CRM developers. Resolve a portal or agency link or reference to one Casafari property record, then see every place the home is advertised and at what price.

How do I check whether a link my client sent is a property I already have and what it really costs?

Clients forward links from several portals and agency websites, often for the same property at different prices and under different references. Working out by hand whether they are the same flat, which agencies advertise it and what the asking price really is wastes time and creates duplicate records in the CRM.

How does it work step by step?

  1. Resolve each link. POST /v1/property-sourcing/properties/resolve takes a portal or agency link, an agency reference or a listing id and returns the property it belongs to (25 units). The request body is documented on the reference page.
  2. Compare ids. Every property is one record with one opaque id (prop_…), so two links resolving to the same id are one home; store the id as the CRM key.
  3. Read every place it is advertised. GET /v1/property-sourcing/properties/{property_id}?expand=listings,history (10 units) returns each place the property is advertised with source, agency, URL, price, status and references, plus listings_count and the dated price and status changes.
  4. Reply to the client. Show one record, the lowest and highest advertised price, how many places advertise it and since when it has been on the market.
bash
curl "https://platform.casafari.com/v1/property-sourcing/properties/$PROPERTY_ID?expand=listings,history" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $CASAFARI_API_KEY"

What do you get?

A single property record from the deduplicated, cleaned property graph, however many links pointed at it, with bathrooms, areas, construction year, energy rating, condition, features, address, description and status. A CRM developer gets one stable opaque id per home instead of one URL per portal; see how the property graph is built.

What are the limits?

Resolve costs 25 units and a property read 10, at EUR 0.04 a unit. Which countries your account may query depends on its entitlement. No seller contact details are returned. For a shortlist built from a brief rather than from links, see Deduplicated buyer shortlist from a plain-language brief.
