How do I add Casafari MCP to Zed?
In Zed, add a Casafari MCP server's URL as a remote server under context_servers, a platform product such as https://platform.casafari.com/mcp/comparables; Zed signs in with OAuth, with no key in the file.
Each self-serve platform product is its own MCP server. Open Settings → AI → MCP Servers, choose Add Server, then Add Remote Server, or add an entry per product you need to ~/.config/zed/settings.json:
{
"context_servers": {
"casafari-comparables": { "url": "https://platform.casafari.com/mcp/comparables" },
"casafari-area-insights": { "url": "https://platform.casafari.com/mcp/area-insights" }
}
}With no Authorization header in an entry, Zed runs the standard MCP OAuth flow and opens Casafari's sign-in page, where you sign in or create your self-serve platform account. Other products' URLs: the MCP server URL. To check, ask the agent to call account_status (checking the connection).
Already a Casafari client? Sign up the same way; if you have a contract, Casafari sets your account up on Custom. See Connect your assistant.
