Units, credits and usage windows · FAQ
What are the 3-hour and weekly usage windows on the Agent plan, and what does the console show?
The Agent plan meters usage in two rolling windows, 1,000 units per 3 hours and 4,000 units per 7 days; credits pay for extra usage.
Usage beyond the windows is paid from prepaid credits only; nothing is billed afterwards. The spending cap defaults to 25,000 units per subscription period, which is €1,000 (excluding VAT), auto top-ups included. Accounts on credits with no plan have no windows (plans).
On top of the windows, the Agent plan has a hard cap of 50,000 units a day (a day runs from 00:00 UTC): a security guard against bulk data extraction. Over it, calls answer 429 daily_limit_reached until the reset. Every limit is on Limits and usage windows.

The console shows three windows: the current session (3 hours, the same for every plan), today (since midnight UTC) and this week (rolling 7 days). See usage and balance.
