# What is the Casafari REST API?

> **Casafari is the AI agent-native real estate data intelligence platform.** The most complete property index in Europe: a deduplicated, cleaned property graph of residential and commercial property, for sale and for rent, in 16 countries. Every property is one record with its full price and market history. [How the property graph is built](/docs/property-graph).

The Casafari REST API is the HTTP interface to Casafari's real estate data, for your own code and applications rather than an assistant's tool calls.

**If you're a Casafari client:** the Casafari REST API is at `https://api.casafari.com`, with 39 operations and no gateway. Sign in with email and password ([`POST /login`](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/rest/authentication/login) returns an access and a refresh token) or with an API client your account owner creates. Property Sourcing, New Market Leads (alerts) and References are REST only. The public OpenAPI description is at https://docs.api.casafari.com/openapi.json. **If you're new to Casafari:** the self-serve platform serves REST at `https://platform.casafari.com/v1/<product>` for five products: account, locations, area-insights, alerts and comparables; property-sourcing is coming soon. Authenticate with an API key or an OAuth client, both created in the console at https://platform.casafari.com/console. Each product has its own OpenAPI file at `https://platform.casafari.com/v1/<product>/openapi.json`, and the whole is at https://platform.casafari.com/v1/openapi.json. AgentGraph AI has no REST operations on the self-serve platform; it is MCP only. Comparables is on both REST and MCP. Property Sourcing, coming soon on the self-serve platform, will be a separate API from the one on the Casafari REST API.
