# How do I sign up for Casafari MCP or the API without talking to sales?

After that, choose how you connect:

- **Assistants (MCP):** add a product's MCP server to your assistant; it signs in with OAuth 2.1 and needs no API key ([connecting Claude](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/faq/connect-claude)).
- **Your code (REST):** create an API key or an OAuth client in the console at https://platform.casafari.com/console ([create a key](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/faq/create-api-key), [your first REST call](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/faq/first-rest-call)).
