# Why can't I add a custom connector in Claude?

On Claude's Team and Enterprise plans only an organisation owner can add a custom connector: an owner adds each product's https://platform.casafari.com/mcp/ URL once, then each member connects with their own account. That is why members see **Add custom connector** greyed out with "Ask an organization owner to add this for your team".

Ask an owner to open **Organization settings → Connectors**, choose **Add custom connector** and add one connector per product you use:

- Location Lookup: `https://platform.casafari.com/mcp/locations`
- Area Insights: `https://platform.casafari.com/mcp/area-insights`
- Comparables: `https://platform.casafari.com/mcp/comparables`
- AgentGraph AI: `https://platform.casafari.com/mcp/agentgraph` (verified businesses only)
- Claro AI: `https://platform.casafari.com/mcp/claro`

Each member then chooses **Connect** on the connector and signs in with their own self-serve platform account, so plans and usage stay with each person's account. The steps are in [Connect to the Casafari Platform](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/connect-platform).

Without an owner you can still connect:

- Claude Code adds a server for you alone, unless your organisation restricts MCP servers in its managed settings: `claude mcp add --transport http casafari-comparables https://platform.casafari.com/mcp/comparables` ([steps](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/faq/connect-claude-code)).
- A personal Claude account outside the organisation adds the custom connector itself ([steps](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/faq/connect-claude)).
