# Compare a shortlist for the committee dossier

> **Casafari is the AI agent-native real estate data intelligence platform.** The most complete property index in Europe: a deduplicated, cleaned property graph of residential and commercial property, for sale and for rent, in 16 countries. Every property is one record with its full price and market history. [How the property graph is built](/docs/property-graph).

**For developers building expansion tools or assistants for chains.** Put 2 to 10 premises side by side with compare_premises and add a site assessment, fact sources and agency links from get_premises.

> How do I put a shortlist of premises side by side and explain each one from its own figures?

## What is the problem?

The dossier needs 2 to 10 candidates side by side, then one page per finalist that explains it from its own figures, with the sentence behind each fact and nothing invented.

## How does it work, step by step?

1. Collect the `pm_` ids from a search ([search_premises](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/claro/search_premises) or [refine_search](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/claro/refine_search)).
2. Call [compare_premises](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/claro/compare_premises) or `POST /v1/claro/compare` ([REST](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/rest/claro/compare-premises)) with `ids` (2 to 10).
3. For each finalist call [get_premises](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/claro/get_premises) (`GET /v1/claro/premises/{id}`, [REST](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/rest/claro/get-premises)) with `insights` and `assessment` set to true, and `segments` set to the brief's competitors: `site_assessment` comes first, written by a model from this premises' own figures only.
4. Build the page from `fact_sources` (each fact with the sentence it came from), `timeline` (`listed_since`, `days_listed`, price cuts, `history`), `energy` (as advertised, unverified) and `energy.official` (the regional register's certificate, only when matched on this unit and declaring commercial use, with the attribution its licence asks for), `status`, up to 8 Casafari thumbnails in `photos` with `photo_source`, and the agency's page from `agency_links`.

```bash
curl -X POST https://platform.casafari.com/v1/claro/compare \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $CASAFARI_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"ids": ["'"$PREMISES_A"'", "'"$PREMISES_B"'"]}'
```

## What do you get?

The premises side by side; per finalist, its data, facts with their quotes, location figures with `location_sources` when the account has location access, and `insights` as charts as data (its asking price per m² against comparable premises nearby of the same type, operation and district, half to twice its size; footfall by part of the day; the distances chart with your `segments` first), each with a one-sentence answer, count, scope, source and date, plus `site_assessment` when asked for.

## What are the limits?

`compare_premises` takes 2 to 10 ids that a search returned. `assessment` works with `insights`. `energy` is not checked against the official register; `energy.official` is null unless matched. Null fields are not stated: do not fill them. The dossier names the agency and links only its page from `agency_links`, shows excerpts and quoted sentences rather than the full advertisement, uses Casafari thumbnails only, and never names a private seller ([content terms](https://developers.casafari.com/docs/claro/faq#content-terms)).
